Kadenwood,
Whistler's newest and soon to be most exclusive corner. This
is a planned community secretly located on a bluff high on
Whistler Mountain making it the highest elevated
neighborhood in the resort. Kadenwood has been engineered so
as to offer each property gorgeous views from north, west
and south and to top it all off, ski in and out to all
homes. Plans have been made for gondola service to Kadenwood
from Creekside Village to one of Whistler Mountain's peaks.
The drawback to Kadenwood is the drive to the Village, as in
winter you have to go all the way up and down a private
drive for about five minutes before you get onto the
highway, yet for some it is a pleasure to be so secluded yet
central. There are many parcels of land on the market
available from just over a million dollars to about four
million where you can build up to ten thousand feet of
luxury with an acre or two of virgin forest surrounding you.
This is an exciting area and expected to be fully built by
the 2010 Winter Olympic Games. Homes currently start at four
million and expected to reach thirty million! |
