Opened to the public in 2001
for building, Spring Creek is located in the southern
outskirts of Whistler close to the entrance drive from
Vancouver on the Sea to Sky Highway. Locals demanded
affordable new housing with a school and parks, so in
response Spring Creek was built. When I say affordable, I
mean new single family homes starting from around one point
five million dollars and going up to three million dollars.
At least there are some duplex and condominium units which
are slightly more affordable for locals, and they have a
state of the art elementary and kindergarten schools within
a short walk. There's not a lot to say about Spring Creek,
but it is new and is nicely laid out with many nice homes
with great westerly views. It is small but quaint and a
little distant from the slopes, however some people may
enjoy this privacy. |
