The Village @ Whistler

Whistler Village, the center of it all, the beating heart of the 2010 Winter Olympic Games. Already full of hustle and bustle, the charm of the quaint little boutique shops, European style cafe's and hip restaurants lining the Village Stroll, you cannot go wrong. The Village offers only condominium and duplex units, no single family housing is planned at this time, but who knows what the future holds. Land is hard to come by and when it does, large hotel chains snatch it up in an instant. As for the Village, naturally you can walk right onto either the Whistler or Blackcomb Mountain gondola's and speed on up to the largest ski hills in North America. The snow is great and lasts a long time and most of that time you can ski right into the Village itself. The Village is thin but long, so some hotels are harder to reach if you want to walk back. This is a unique area in Whistler as it is full of life and all types of people from around the world all of which come together to rest and relax in one of the best alpine resorts around.
